Travelling to Windermere by Car

If you are driving by car, then head along the M6 and turn off the motorway at junction 36. Take the A590 and then the A591. You will be in for a scenic drive as you reach Windermere, taking in the beauty of the Lake District along the way.

Travelling to Windermere by Train

Aphrodite’s Spa hotels are only a 10 minute taxi ride away from Windermere train station. Easily reached from London, Manchester, Newcastle York, Leeds and from Scotland further north.

Connections are available from Oxenholme, with it taking just half an hour to arrive at Windermere. You can catch the number 599 bus into Bowness-on-Windermere, while the 1.5 hour walk to the Lake is also worth considering.
