Covid-19 Updates for stays from 12th April – 16th May 2021
As per Government guidelines, Aphrodites Group will reopen selected suites from 12th April 2021 for self contained accommodation only.
Please see below the changes we have implemented to ensure we meet with all government guidelines:
Your remaining balance will automatically be taken the day prior to your arrival from the card that was used to make your booking. If this payment is unsuccessful, we will contact you via the contact methods on your booking (telephone and email provided you entered both), however, if we have not heard from you by 5pm that evening then your reservation will unfortunately be released.
Check in will be available from 3pm – 5pm. Please do not arrive earlier than 3pm as due to deep cleaning the suites will be unavailable. If you are unable to arrive before 5pm, please let us know and we will arrange for a staff member to be on site at your arrival time. All Suites are to check in at Aphrodites Boutique Suites LA23 3JD.
On arrival, please remain in your vehicle where a member of staff will meet you for check in and key collection.
Breakfast will be placed in your suite prior to arrival, this will be a luxury Continental Breakfast. If you have any food allergies, we kindly ask that you contact us 48 hours prior to arrival via firstname.lastname@example.org
Extras and Hampers will still be available to purchase but must be pre ordered prior to arrival. Unfortunately, we will be unable to provide room service during your stay.
We are unfortunately unable to provide a housekeeping service during your stay. If you require fresh toiletries, towels etc please call our Reception phone line between the hours of 9am – 3pm, and we will arrange for a clear plastic bag to be placed outside your suite with fresh supplies. Likewise, to remove dirty towels, rubbish etc please place these in the clear plastic bag provided in your suite and leave outside your door fully sealed for collection.
Please note none of our suites are self-catering, they do all however include a small fridge and a kettle. Takeaways are permitted and cutlery is provided in each suite. Bowness town is 2 minutes away in a taxi where outdoor hospitality will be available provided the government do not amend the hospitality guidelines. Please see individual suite descriptions on our website regarding further facilities such as ice machines, coffee machines etc
Check out for all suites is 10.30am. To check out please leave your key on the bed in your suite.
Late Check Out unfortunately remains unavailable due to deep cleaning requirements.
All bookings from 12th April – 16th May are in suites with their own private entrance and exit, as per Government Guidelines. All other suites are out of use ensuring corridors and stairways are not shared.
Please be assured that all spa facilities within individual suites will remain fully operational.
The pre authorisation charge will not be required for stays between 12th April – 16th May.
Covid-19 Updates for stays from 17th May 2021 onwards
Check in is from 3pm – 10pm, please do not arrive earlier than this, as due to deep cleaning unfortunately the Suites will not be available. All Suites are to check in at Aphrodites Boutique Suites LA23 3JD.
We have implemented a one-way system on the ground floor of Aphrodites Boutique Suites (this is where all properties check in). Please adhere to this system for the duration of your stay. The one- way system is clearly marked from the car park, then once check in is completed you will be given directions to your own Suite.
In other areas of our properties such as corridors/stairwells, we ask that you remain 1 metre plus apart from others, thank you.
Please be assured that all spa facilities within individual Suites will remain fully operational.
All Suites will now receive complimentary breakfast in bed. Aphrodites Boutique Suites and Windermere Tranquil Retreat properties will be offered the choice of a Full English and/or Continental which is to be ordered once checked in, no later than 9pm.
Windermere Boutique Spa Suites can choose either a Continental or Cooked breakfast. If you would like both breakfasts this will be an extra charge of £5.00 per person. Please call our team on 015394 45052 ext 2 no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival to order your breakfast. Please be aware cooked breakfasts must be collected from Aphrodites Boutique Suites.
Our “Food & Drink Hampers” are available to either pre order or purchase during your stay. Our “Special Touches” packages are available to pre order only.
For evening meals, we continue to recommend the local restaurants and bars. Bowness is just 2 minutes away in a taxi and sits on the edge of Lake Windermere.
For those who do not wish to eat out, we are allowing takeaways to be ordered to your Suite. As such, all Suites will have cutlery provided within them.
During this time, we are unable to provide room service during your stay. In the meantime, if you would like fresh toiletries, towels and toilet roll, please call our reception team who will arrange for a clear plastic bag to be left outside your Suite with fresh supplies. Likewise, to remove dirty towels, rubbish etc please place these in a clear plastic bag provided in your Suite and leave outside your door fully sealed for collection.
Check out for all Suites is 10.30am, apart from the Windermere Boutique Spa Suite property which has a check out of 11am. Late check out is currently unavailable due to deep cleaning requirements.
Covid-19 Updates for ALL stays
Hand sanitiser stations are located throughout our properties, we do ask that you also bring your own, if possible, just in case we run low.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept cash payments due to the contamination risk. We kindly ask that all payments are settled by card.
In the event of a Covid-19 lockdown, you will be offered the choice of a gift voucher valid for 18 months or will be able to transfer your date. Please note, if you choose to transfer your date, the cost of your stay will become the rate shown online via our website for the new date/suite you have chosen.
