The Garden Suite, the Penthouse Suite and the Penthouse Retreat boast stunning furnishings, super king sized beds and top-of-the-range facilities including cinema experience internet TV, log burning fires, SMEG fridges, Swedish saunas and Large circular hot tubs.

With mood lighting, virtual surround sound and outdoor garden areas, our beautiful new suites provide everything you need for a totally relaxing break in the Lakes.
If you can drag yourself out of your suite, Lake Windermere and all the amenities of Bowness Bay are just a two minute drive away.

Windermere
Windermere is home to the famous lake of the same name which is 10.5 miles long and offers a wide choice of attractions including boat trips from nearby Bowness Bay.
The Lake District was once home to famous poets and writers, including William Wordsworth and Samuel Coleridge, who were inspired by the breath-taking scenery to write some of their most famous works.
The Lake District is also a great place for outdoor activities, including climbing, hiking, sailing and walking.
The Windermere Tranquil Retreat is surrounded by stunning landscapes which first attracted the Victorians to the lakes over 200 years ago. Early tourists from all parts of England believed the lakes and the clear mountain air to be beneficial to their health.
Recently awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status, the Lake District is England’s most picturesque National Park and the perfect place for a tranquil retreat.
Attractions close to the Windermere Tranquil Retreat include: the Lakes Aquarium, Brockhole, the Lake District Visitor Centre, restaurants, bars and shops in Bowness Bay and the Beatrix Potter Attraction.
