With events for Christmas well underway, we take a look at any Lake District Christmas events during the rest of 2018.

Santa Express, Lakeside Railway

As if a picturesque train ride in the Lake District couldn’t be exciting enough, you can make the most of a special Christmas journey. The Santa Express is much more than a way to get from A to B. With everything from festive elves serving drinks to interactive carol singing.

While it may be a chance to try some traditional Cumbrian food, there’s likely to be some less common treats available too. Although this particular food market takes place every month, this Friday is your last chance to stock up for Christmas.
